Welcome to the JEAW web site.

This is the longest running Judges Education Association on the west coast.

The purpose of our association is to further the education of the dog show judges and prospective judges by providing the best education programs on the west coast.

You can find judges who are willing to judge shows, matches, and sweepstakes.  Also we have judges that will provide mentoring.

Membership

Two types of membership are open to approved judges who are in good standing with AKC or other canine registry and who subscribe to the purpose of this club.
    • Regular Membership is open to anyone who is approved by the American Kennel Club to judge at dog shows. This applies to those approved on a regular basis or on a provisional basis. Regular membership is also available to people approved by the Canadian Kennel Club to judge at dog shows.
    • Associate Membership is open to those people who aspire to become approved to judge at dog shows, either under endorsement by the AKC or CKC.  The only requirement for Associate Membership is to be in good standing with the American Kennel Club and the Canadian Kennel club.  Associate members have all of the privileges of Regular Membership except that they may not hold office or vote.
